Old Mutual Malawi unveils Photo Frames to enhance tourism in Malawi

Old Mutual Malawi has unveiled the “Warm Heart in a frame” campaign to support in promoting the Malawi tourism.

The company’s Chief Finance Officer, Vera Zulu described the frames campaign as their way of creatively demonstrating their support to Malawi’s tourism which is a pillar in the country’s growth in the Agriculture , Tourism and Mining (ATM) strategy.

“We are looking at these frames as symbols of building timeless memories of the Old Mutual contribution to Malawi,” she said.

According to Zulu, the green photo frames have been strategically positioned in Cape Maclear, Mangochi, Mulanje, Nkhatabay and Lilongwe. Saying each location was chosen for its uniqueness and representation of Malawi’s natural and cultural heritage.

Minister of Tourism, Vera Kamtukule commended Old Mutual for complimenting government’s initiative of “Tiziyamba Ndife Malawi” in promoting tourism destinations within and to the entire world.

“The Responsibility to do destination marketing for Malawi does not belong to government alone but to all of us,” she said.

Kamtukule believed that other companies will emulate the same to have the frames in every tourism attraction places to promote tourism in Malawi.
