Still a Nomad: Kaipa back at Lali Lubani Road

Mighty Wanderers international left-back Bongani Kaipa is back at Lali Lubani Road after announcing he had quit the club.

Kaipa told Nyasa Times that he was back at the club he accused of  starving him game time, on  reports that the club reduced him to a sideshow because he declined to use juju [charms].

But the player denied such claims, saying he discussed his grievances with the club.

“There were a number of issues that led me to write a resignation letter and l can say we have sorted some of the grievances. For the meantime l can’t explain much because l just wan’t to concentrate on our game against Red Lions on Saturday,” said Kaipa.

Nomads general secretary David Kanyenda, who heads the technical panel, claimed that Kaipa’s issue had been sorted out he has resumed training.

However, Kanyenda said the club is displeased with the player “ that he took it to the media.”

Kanyenda said  the Nomads stopped using juju 10 years ago.

“Every player is allowed to practise his beliefs at Wanderers. There are others who are Christians while others are Muslims.”

Kaipa has not played in the last five games of which the Nomads have won four and drawn one.
