Bucci’s single Malungo out: A love story
RnB artist Bucci has proved his prowess as a singer in his new single Malungo – the first since he signed a contract with Ndefeyo Entertainment last November.
Malungo is a song that tells a love story of a partner who misses the other so much that he or she that is experiencing signs and symptoms of malaria (Malungo). The absence of his or her partner, the song narrates, creates a hellish experience for the persona who – it seems – is madly in love with the former.
“What inspired the Malungo concept in the mellow feeling of the guitar that leads the main melody, as well as my daily personal experience of such situations,” said Bucci.
The track, a fusion of RnB and afro-pop, was produced by Percy Manyozo – popularly known as Pro-Pee.
Bucci announced he would be releasing an album soon which, he revealed, will also be part of his Ndefeyo Entertainment deal.
Ndefeyo Entertainment, co-owned by Kabuzi and Zizwa who are well-known as Biriwiri, has signed such celebrated artists as Piksy and Maskal that left because of contract disagreements.
