Kings Foundation Private Schools donate to Ntcheu Hospital items worth K0.5m
Students and Teachers of Kings Foundation Private Schools, Ntcheu campus donated assorted items to Ntcheu District Hospital.



Speaking on behalf of the hospital after receiving the donation, Stella Kawalala who is also the spokesperson of the Hospital thanked the School for donating various items to the hospital.
Kawalalasaid the donation was timely as patients lack basic needs as they are in the hospital.
“Let me appeal to Well-wishers, Stake holders and the Business Community to emulate what the students have done and this is quite commendable,” said Kawalala.
Kawalala further said the students of Kings Foundation have shown the spirit of sharing as such the patients are grateful with the timely donation.
Speaking to Nyasa Times after donating the items, Macloud Mpini, who is also the Deputy Head Teacher of the School said Kings Foundation thought it wise to donate at the hospital as their part of its social responsibility.
Mpini further said some of the patients have children at the school as such they thought it wise to donate at the hospital.
“This does not mean that we have enough but as a God fearing school we believe in the spirit of sharing even with the little that we have,” Mpini said.
Mpini applauded the students for teaming up with their teachers to donate at the hospital.
Speaking on behalf of the students, DalitsoMomba said some of the items were sourced by the students themselves.
“This is to tell you that we believe in the spirit of sharing and this is Biblical because we are a God fearing school,” said Momba.
Some of the items that were donated are Sugar, salt, soap, biscuits valued at K500,000.
