Albino woman ritual murder in Mulanje

Unknown thugs reportedly killed a 25-year-old woman living with albinism in Mulanje district for ritual purposes.albino

Police confirmed that the woman  identified as Violet Kanyama was murdered on Wednesday evening in Gwana Village in the mountainous  southern region district.

Albinism is a genetically inherited condition, in which people lack pigmentation.

Witchdoctors reportedly buy albino body parts to make “magic” potions.

Police believe the killers are selling their victims’ limbs, hair, skin and genitals to traditional medicine practitioners who make potions promising to make people wealthy.

According to police, the murder victim was last seen with her lover moving around the area.

  16. It really does not stop amazing me when witch doctors corrupt pples way of thinking that they can help enriching people. Yet if u look at them them and their relatives are so poor and cannot afford a descent pair of shoes later alone sending their children to school because of poverty. The worse thing is that even the elite believe in this. Ues pple we are perishing voz of lack of wisdom. The bible clearly says it is God who gives pple the Ideas to create wealth. The bible goes on the say that our God will supply all our needs according to his riches in glory. We can do all things thru Christ Jesus. The problem with human beings os that we are alwayslooking for quick fixes and shortcuts. As a result we go for temporary wealth with evil strings attached instead of choosing God’s way of getting rich. Gods desire for humans is to prosper and be in good health. If we are in good health we are prone to ask wisdom from God and He will help us work hard and enjoy our wealth. Lets follow God not satan. Those who have done this barbaric thing will never habe peace of mind until they turn to God and repent sencerely.   25. Abale the fact that Mulanje is home to the biggest and highest mountain in Malawi it cannot be described as a “mountainous” District as if the mountains are all over the District!
