Bidvest asks Malawi star Gaba to account for spitting shame
South Africa top league side Bidvest Wits could punish Malawi star striker Gabadinho Hellings Mhango over spitting controversy during last week Wednesday league game against AmaZulu.
Gabadinho is accused of spitting in the face of AmaZulu midfielder Michael Morton after the Malawian was crudely tackled.
Morton got marching orders for retaliation but Gabadinho escape.
Bidvest CEO Jose Ferreira has asked the Malawian to account for his actions through a written explanation of the incident, according to Kickoff.
“The game was played on Wednesday night. I asked Mhango to give us a written explanation on what transpired. He gave it yesterday (Sunday). We will take action based on the explanation the player gave us.”
He also said was aware that PSL has been asked to take action against Gabadinho.

Ya it was childish for a professional sportsman like Gaba who has been in the game for a long time to do such a demeaning thing. We all know that soccer is a game of emotions but spit on a fellow human being’so face, is unacceptable. Anyway there is nothing else than an apology.
