Black Jack strikes again with ‘Pen Yopanda Khavala’
The internet went crazy when MBC Radio 2 FM’s DJ Joy Nathu premiered “Pen Yopanda Khavala” by probably the most controversial dancehall artist, Black Jack.
Following the “Yopanda Khavala” premiere, Blakjak has also recently announced the release of his new album probably to be titled “Indee” slated for 1st September, 2016.
“The Song is called “Pen Yopanda Khavala’, It’s Just a concept about how we don’t have to judge a Book by its cover. Or underestimate the Importance of certain things because of its size” Black Jack said in an interview.
The former member of the now defunct Nyasa Gurus further added: “The inspiration comes from the debates we have been having within our peer circles about the Pros and Cons of Circumcision.”
The song has so far attracted mixed reactions with some quarters praising the artist for his creativity and some criticizing him, claiming he is offensive.
According to analysts, “Pen Yopanda Khavala’ follows the same pattern that Black Jack set on “ Wadya Iwe” which also made him become a household name in music business.
In the song, he is heard singing, “Ena amati pencil yanga ndi ndi yayifupi, ena amati ndiyayitali… Enanu ink inatha kale kale.”
However, Black Jack said: “Oh and it’s a set up on a girl asking a man how his pen has never have a cover and if that doesn’t affect the performance of the pen. The man backs his pen up.”
