Bullets beef up squad: Zoya likely to sign in Zambia
Nyasa Big Bullets FC have intensified reinforcement drive in readiness of the new TNM Super League season to kick-start in April by signing in new players.
On Wednesday, Bullets signed in winger, Precious Phiri, on a 3-year contract as a free agent. Phiri was playing for Azam Tigers last season. The 22-year-old can play on the right or left wing.
The Blantyre-based football giants have also signed in striker, Patrick Phiri from the relegated Premier Bet Wizards. Phiri signed a 3-year contract on Friday.
On Tuesday this week, the red army signed two Under-20 players for the Reserve side, namely Patrick Mwaungulu and Felix Dumakude from Sanweka FC of Mzuzu. The two will join the squad at the end of this month.
Meanwhile, Bullets have confirmed that the defender Emmanuel Zoya is in Zambia where he is expected to undergo a 2-week trial with a Lusaka-based top-flight Red Arrows FC.
The left-back, who had a remarkable performance in the 2017 season, flew to the neighboring country on Saturday.
