Chez Ntemba gives out K3.4m in Dancing Competition

Chez Ntemba International night club has spent K3.4 million in a dance competition the club holds on every Wednesday since the contest started in January this year.

The competition which is in second year running, is designed to give imbibers chance to display their dancing antics while partying their nights away at the club.

The club’s Managing Director Jeromy Ndala disclosed on Wednesday they have so far spent K3,4 million in this year’s contest, which is expected to officially end on December 17.

He said they are expected to spend K3.740,000 this year down from K4 million that was spent on similar contest last year.

Atoti 2 Shot, is one of the product of Chez Ntemba dancing competition.

“AS a club and of international sort, we are committed to our values. We value our customers and as one way of giving back and bringing excitement to the club, we came up with the dancing competition, which is receiving overwhelming response,” Ndala said.

Chez Ntemba dance competition is held every Wednesday of the week, however, it was postponed for a month due undisclosed reasons. The competition has three categories, dancehall, rhumba, local and Kwaito.

He said every week the club gives out K68,000 cash to eight winners with the first position getting K12,000 and runners up pocketing K5,000 translating to K340,000 a month.

“The competition is one way of promoting dancing skills amongst our customers. It is open to everyone and people are really getting excited about it. Every Wednesday people are looking forward to another exciting night with many contestants battling it out for the cash,” he added.

Ndala said during the final show next month, several album artists which include Armstrong, Maskal, and Sonye are expected to perform.

“17th December will be a night to remember. We are asking people to come in large numbers to witness the final show of Chez Ntemba dancing competition,” he explained.

In related development, Chez Ntamba has become one of the main sponsors to the late Everson Matafale’s memorial show slated for this weekend in Chileka.

The club has provided free meals to all participating artists.
