Chimango Kayira signs for Nyasa Big Bullets
Former Flames international midfield workhorse Chimango Kayira has signed a two year deal with his ex-club Nyasa Big Bullets.
Kayira becomes the first new signing for the People’s Team ahead of the 2017 season.
The player became a free agent after terminating his contrat with a Mozambican top league side Costa do Sol after a three year stint.
Both Nyasa Big Bullets Acting General Secretary Bizzy Kalodzeni and Kayira has confirmed the development.
However the officials could not be drawn to comment on the initial signing on fee as well as full details of the deal.
But Kalodzeni revealed the player cannot join any team during the two year period that he has signed.
“The way the contract is, he cannot join any other club but since we as Bullets always give our players a chance to explore other avenues, we can give him a chance” Kalodzeni told a local radio on Saturday.
In his remarks, Kayira said it feels good to be back at his former club and thanked the supporters and executive for having trust in him.
“I am glad to have penned this deal. The fans and executive have trust in me to steer the team glory once more” said Kayira in an interview with Nyasa Times.
He further admitted that it won’t just be easy to reclaim the lost glory.
“I know its a big challenge. Its not easy to enter into such a huge project but I am looking forward to have a great stint with the team,”said Kayira.
