DC interdicted over corruption, facing charges
Government has interdicted Mwanza district commissioner Jack Ngulube on allegations of corruption whilst he was DC for Mangochi.

A letter signed by Local government principal secretary, Kinswell Dakamau says the interdiction takes effect the day he was arrested in February.
“The interdiction order remains effective until the case is concluded,” reads the letter in part. He is also restrained from travelling abroad, according to the letter.
Ngulube was arrested along with procurement officer for Mangochi District Council Michael Khoko.
This comes at a time when there are reports that newly constructed two bridges and a school block recently collapsed in Dedza before they were even used.
People are pointing fingers at poor workmanship and fingers are pointing at the council for corruptly hiring contractors without skills.
One of the contractors said communities bewitched him.
