Ex-Bullets’ Zakazaka says ‘all is not lost’ after massacre in Sudan
Whether out of good will or just sheer mockery, former Big Bullets striker Jimmy Zakazaka who dumped the People’s team unceremoniously to join rival camp, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers, took to social media networks Bullets’ CAF Champions League loss.
Bullets were pummelled 4-0 by Al Hilal of Sudan in Khartoum on Sunday putting their chances of progressing in the competition on the knife. The result means Bullets have to score 5-0 in the return leg to be played on March 28 at Kamuzu stadium.
Following the result, Zakazaka posted on his Facebook “All is not lost together we can #believe#teambullets”.
The post attracted at least six comments and 15 likes. One comment read: “Exactly bro” agreeing with Zakazaka that everything is not lost for the People’s team.
But another person, possibly sensing some mockery in Zakazaka’s post commented: “…chipongwe eti Jimmy? [Is this a mockery Jimmy?]”
Zakazaka switched to Wanderers when his name was already registered to CAF as one of Bullets strikers to play in the CAF Champions league.
He left his long-time club citing lack of professionalism in handling players’ contract issues.
