Gaudy Maluza one of Malawi’s richest dies
Gaudy Maluza, one of Malawi ‘s richest and most well-connected businessman, has died .
Maluza died on Monday at Mwaiwathu Hospital in Blantyre, his family confirmed. They did not disclose the cause of death.
He was a shareholder and a director Tayamba General Dealers Limited
Maluza was also the brains behind Kanengo Northgate Project—an upmarket residential estate in Lilongwe.
He was once the general manager of GM Properties Limited, the managers of the project whose vision was to create a communal village that was supposed to have a shopping mall, an academy, clinic and other related services to service the residents of Kanengo Northgate Communal Home.
Maluza was also known for his political connections in Malawi and abroad.
