Kaliati trials extended at Cape Town FC
Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and Flames winger Isaac Kaliati’s trials at Cape Town City Football Club have been extended for an undisclosed period, Nyasa Times has learnt.
Confirming the development, Kaliati told Nyasa Times that the blocker of the deal Michael Makaab told him the club is willing to keep him for another period but could not secify for how long.
“Yes I have been informed by Makaab that the club wants to keep me. I understand negotiations are ongoing regarding the way forward buy for now am training with the main team every morning,” said Kaliati.
On possibilities of cliching a permanent deal with the South African club, the diminutive Kaliati said he is full of confidence to make the grade.
“I told you already that I have the blessings of my parents and my beloved club (Wanderers) back home. Even the messages am receiving from followers, it’s really overwhelming and am impressed . My God will fight this battle bro,” said Kaliati to the Nyasa Times senior sports reporter.
The player was expected back home on Tuesday 21 March 2017.
Cape Town City F.C has taken the ABSA premier league by storm this campaign and is among the hot favorites to do the Leicester City way if big guns like Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, Pirates and others continue to slip up.
