Kondie says Wanderers duo, Silvers’ Sherif to undergo trials in South Africa
Be Forward Wanderers defender Stanly Sanudi and attacker Yamikani Chester and Silver Strikers Nigerian import Yinussa Sherif are expected to undergo trials in South African Clubs in August this year, Nyasa Times has established.
Two of the three will be tried at Absa Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Black Leopards while the other player will be tried at a National First Division side Stellenbosch.
Local soccer agent Kondie Msungama is the blocker and the one facillitating the deal on behalf of Black Leopards while Martin Msekachi is the one representing Stellenbosch.
Msungama confirmed on Monday that together with his counterpart Msekachi have since advised Leopards and Stellenbosch to formally contact the clubs for the trio.
“If you can call Mighty Be Forward Wanderers General Secretary, he can confirm that they are aware of whatever is happening and that they are just waiting for a formal communication from the interested club,” Msungama said.
He said he is optimistic that the deals will materialize.
According to Msungama, Sanudi and Chester were spotted by the clubs in
South Africa during the 2016 and 2017 Cosafa Castle Cup editions.
