Lawi to drop second album titled ‘Sunset in the Sky’
Afro-Soul reknowned gospel musician and producer ‘Lawi’ who was born Francis Phiri is currently working on his brand new album titled ‘Sunset in the sky’.
The artist made the announcement through a post on his Facebook timeline few days ago.
The artist said his latest album will be produced in France where he claims is fast becoming his second home.
“I am excited about the announcement I am making today (12th June,2016) and the new friendship I have lately”.
“I cannot wait to finish working on my second album and share with the world and all of you who have supported my work since the beginning of my career” wrote Lawi.
He said the album “has so much beautiful music about life, God and many other things”.
The ‘Amaona Kuchedwa’ and ‘Whistling song’ hits maker could however not reveal the exact date the album will hit the airwaves.
Lawi is among few Malawian musicians who have performed in a number of countries including in Europe.
He has also been actively involved in charity works and various developmental programs including being an Ambassador for some notable Non-Governmental Organizations including Plan Malawi and I Care.
