Lilongwe man becomes millionaire after winning grand prize in New Finance Bank ‘Moto Buu’ promo
Lilongwe-based Clement Mwakenenge is expected to smile all the way to the bank after emerging winner of New Finance Bank’s Moto Buu promotion’s grand prize.
The grand draw of the promotion, which was introduced in August this year, took place on Thursday at NFB head office in Lilongwe.
The bank’s Chief Commercial Manager Benard Mkandawire said the promotion has helped to strengthen relationship between themselves and their customers in which they have now accumulated 55,000 customers from the 38,000 they had before the promotion.
“On the deposits, we are now at almost K50 billion from K30 billion. We are not taking this achievement for granted,” Mkandawire said.
Moto Buu promotion saw over 64 winners in cash and bank name-branded T-shirts. For one to qualify, they had had to make a deposit of K20,000 and immediately the system entered them into the competition.
