Mbulu scoops player of the month award
Mafco FC forward Richard Mbulu has scooped the best Player of the Month Award for the month of October.
Mbulu has been in red hot form after scoring 19 league goals to inspire his side to a Super League title contention.
The Mafco striker, who at the beginning of the 2016-2017 K95 Million TNM Super
League set himself a target of 18 goals is likely to increase his tally of goals as his team remains with four games to conclude the season.
He is closely been followed by Nyasa Big Bullets hitman Chiukepo Msowoya who was out of action over the weekend due to yellow card suspension.
Mbulu said the secret behind his success has been hard working and listening to instructions from the coaches.
He has also hailed fellow team mates for the team spirit existing in the club.
Mbulu is yet to transform his scoring form at club level to the national when given an opportunity.
His impressive goal scoring attracted interest from South Africa’s Premier Soccer League side Baroka FC and a Portuguese club.
It was reported that he will however be heading to Mozambique next season to build a foundation for his Portugal dream.
