Miracle second time lucky in South Africa – Report
South African club Highlands Park have decided to sign Nyasa Big Bullets defender Miracle Gabeya during the next transfer window in August.
Bullets chairperson Noel Lipipa told a local paper that he had successful meeting with the Premier Soccer League outfit’s management in Johannesburg on Tuesday, according to quotes reported in The Nation newspaper.
“I had a successful meeting with Highlands Park management which touched on a variety of issues, but high on the agenda was Gabeya’s botched deal.
“I explained to them what exactly transpired and they accepted to take him on board in the next transfer window.
“However, the deal has a condition to allow one of their foreign players to be loaned to us so that he can create space for Gabeya since they have already exhausted the maximum quota of [five] foreign players,” he said.
Initially, Highlands Park offered Gabeya a two-year deal which was cancelled last month following a transfer fee controversy.
Highlands Park co-chairperson Larry Brookstone confirmed that Gabeya will be signed, according to the paper.
