Mphepo under fire for saying DPP to punish ungrateful northerners

Chief  presidential political advisor Francis Mphepo has come under intense fire for saying that governmentt will withdraw all development projects in the north because northerners are ungrateful.

Mphepo: Under fire for provoking northernors

President Mutharika has not visited the region on his usual ‘thank you’, rallies since the highly disputed May 21 elections.

In a clip circulating in various social media platforms, Mphepo says Mutharika has lined up a number of development projects in the north which would be withdrawn if people in the north continue to be ungrateful.

Alliance for Democracy (Aford) has issued a hard hitting statement, condemning Mphepo, who is also the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) administrative secretary, for his regionalistic remark.

“Our understanding as a party which selflessly fought for democracy in the country, is that he would differentiate between private resources, party resources and public resources,” says the statement.

The party says the public resources does not belong to Mutharika but the people including those from the north.

Some people in social media platforms are asking Mutharika to fire Mphepo in both his public and party positions for promoting regionalism.

UTM’s Saulos Chilima won more votes in the presidential election followed by Malawi Congress Party’s Lazarus Chakwera and Mutharika was placed third in the presidential poll race.

This dude needs to retire as he has nothing to offer Malawi. He is a TOTAL DISGRACE to NATIONAL UNITY professed by His Excellency the Life President Ngwazi Dr Kamuzu Banda (may his soul rest in peace), the most PRAGMATIC LEADER Malawi has ever had since kicking the British out of Malawi.

Shame on Francis Mphepo and he needs to be forced to make an public apology if ever Malawi is to heal from the mess and chaos it is in at the moment.

DPP is well known for such remarks. It started with mutharika who was gossiping with mchacha. Then chaponda and now is this grand father called mphepo. All of them very old people trying to divide our country. Very irresponsible and careless old people. Shame on them.

There is no way Malawi can develop with such kind of people controlling the country. Mphepo represents a draconian sect that sees evil and suppression against others as the norm.

We in the north also pay tax,we don’t need to bootlick Peter Mutharika or indeed any party leader to get development infact we are already being sidelined by DPP.The quota system has hit us hard,it is an open secret that PSLCE and MSCE results are manipulated to promote those from the Lomwe belt.So Mr Mphepo shut your mouth, keep your “development”,God will soon set us free from Muhlakho wa Alomwe Club you call government.Tilibe nthawi yopembedza mafano!!!!!!
