Our God specializes in things that seem impossible, ask for the hard things
Receiving from God requires God’s children to believe and have faith. There is no merit with the things of God, for the gift was already given to all on the cross, through which we are able to receive from God. It may look too hard or impossible with our physical eye, but it is possible with God; (Matthew 19:26).
Before Elijah was taken away, he asked Elisha what he could do for him and Elisha chose a double portion of Elijah’s spirit. This is in essence a double portion of the Spirit of God which was on Elijah. Elijah told Elisha that he had asked a hard thing but nevertheless if he shall see him the time that he is taken from him, it shall be so, but if not, shall not be so. The problem with us now is that we are not asking God for the hard things or we are not asking at all.
Sometimes we are asking yet we are so busy with the things of the world that easily disrupts us from the things of God that we even fail to recognize the answer. As Children of God, we should be seeing the miracle working power of God and not dwell on the situation at hand.
Our God is a powerful God who is able to do all that we ask (Jeremiah 32:25) if God is involved in whatever that we are doing, victory is guaranteed because nothing is too hard nor is there anything He cannot do.
It is God’s desire that whatever we ask in the Name of Jesus, we should have but most of us are not asking or asking without faith. When you ask without faith, it is like you are testing God.
Because many people are asking things from God without any faith, that is why sometimes there is a delay because God will always wait until we have reached a point where that self dependency is no longer there but only looking to Him.
Remember the Prayer of Jabez, who called on the God of Israel, saying Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me. These are great things that Jabez had asked for. The Bible tells us that God granted him that which he requested.
It is the same with us; ask the Lord for anything even those things that seem impossible. There are no limitations on what God can give His children. God will do the same for all who ask from Him by faith just as Jabez did.

Powerful sermon and good arguments, God bless you all.
I get your point analyst, because many wants us to accept anything that comes from a pastor whether its a lie or the truth thus why when am in church i don’t shout “Amen” just on anything but on something that os true because by saying “Amen” you agree to what that particular person says. And definitely you would be punished the same as the one who says it by being a false witness. Actually as per your point mr analyst you are right to say there is nothing impossible, hard or tough with God therefore there is no need… Read more »
The Analyst, if you are a Satanist please quit reading these articles. This is for children of God who can be able to understand. Many news on Nyasa times that you can be analyzing but live God’s things alone. Why hatred with God?
O………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….O Chiko, Chiko, Chiko . . . . . . Whoever told you that God’s words can’t and shouldn’t be analysed, misled you. And if you had engaged your mind well, you would have realised there is nothing indicating hatred for God or Cindy, in my comment; unless your dictionary’s definition of hatred is different. . . .The thing is – Cindy has made a very strong statement that God specialises in things that seem impossible, and thus we should ask for the hard things; but this statement is not true – coz God does not specialise in anything and… Read more »
O………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….O How do we define something impossible hence a speciality of God that requires His intervention? . . . And if we ask God for the seemingly impossible (however so defined), whom shall we ask, for the seemingly possible (however defined)? . . . Is there something easy anyway? coz even the mere art of existing or living is hard. You have to learn survival skills and stuff. Simply put. It is not true that God specialises in things that seem impossible. In fact, God does not specialise! ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. And was it not a week before last week, you urged… Read more »
