Owned by Pentecostal Life, which also runs Pentecostal Life Radio, the station will be accessed on Malawi Digital Broadcast Network Limited (MDBNL) and on GO TV decoders on Channel 828.
The TV’s sales and marketing manager, Edgar Lutepo, said Malawians should expect to watch exceptional programs on the new station.
“Malawians deserve nothing bust the best,” said Lutepo. “We have actually come in to bridge existing gaps in Malawi’s broadcasting industry.”
He said there will be inspiring programs on current affairs, entertainment and sports.
Lutepo was optimistic that the television will attract great viewership with their programming, making reference to the radio station (PLFM) which started at a slow pace but now is one of most listened to radio stations in the country.
The radio and television operate under Pentecostal Life Church International which also runs Exploits University and Pentecostal Life University founded by Professor Kingston Ngwira.
