Prophet Bushiri Calls for Political Unity and God-First Leadership at Grand Birthday Celebration
Leader and founder of ECG-The Jesus Nation Church Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has appealed to politicians to unite and put God first for the betterment and economic growth of the country.
Prophet Bushiri made the remarks in Lilongwe on Friday during his flamboyant birthday celebration which took place at Golden Peacock Hotel Auditorium and attracted thousands of guests including Vice President Dr Micheal Usi who was the guest of honor.
“I call for unity in politics as we head to the general elections hence need to have proper collaboration as it is essential in making Malawi a safer and brighter place for everyone,” Prophet Bushiri said.
He also commended the Vice President for his food distribution initiative, which has provided relief items to the underprivileged across country.
“The efforts that you are doing are commendable and can’t go unnoticed because they bring hope to many in need,” Prophet Bushiri emphasized.
Meanwhile, Lilongwe City Mayor Esther Sagawa has applauded Bushiri’s charitable initiatives and his contributions to the city’s development.
Speaking at the event, Dr Usi also commended Prophet Bushiri for his significant contributions to Malawi’s development, particularly in the areas of tourism and charity work.
“Prophet Bushiri’s initiatives have positively impacted the tourism sector and government is committed to engage with church leaders for the country’s progress,” Usi added.
