Rab Processors crowned 2017 Malawi Best Manufacturer
The Chartered Institute for Marketing (CIM)-Malawi Chapter has crowned one of the leading manufacturers, Rab Processors Limited as best manufacturer 2017.
The company which boasts of being one of the major forces in the agro-processing and FMCG industrious, was awarded during (CIM)-Malawi Group Marketing Excellence Awards.
And the award comes at a time when Rab Processors is launching a multi-million dollar plant to manufacture soft drinks and compete with major soft drink producer, Castel Malawi Limited.
Rab Processors Chief Executive Officer, Ahmed Sunka said the award will boost their confidence to perform even better.
“We will continue to grow and aim to remain the largest manufacturer in the country. We aim to be consistent in our operations and invest in internationally recognized technologies to ensure we give our customers the best they deserve,” said Sunka.
Rab Processors are one of the largest group of companies employing over thousand Malawians in Malawi. They have been in existence for 30 years.
Malawi having Rab operates through three different companies – Rab Processors Limited, A1 Enterprises and Kulimagold Limited. Rab Processors operations consist of a rich mix between manufacturing, commodity trading and agro-processing.
The annual CIM-Malawi Marketing Excellence Awards aims to recognize companies, advertising agencies and other outstanding individuals that play a significant role in the marketing and communications industry.
We guys are not serious. Not too long ago this company was in the news for the wrong reasons and now awards awards! Cry my beloved country….
Is this the same company whose employees were caught red handed repackaging expired fertiliser into new fertiliser bags?
Please get your facts right, it was not Rab Processors but Africa Fertiliser Ltd who were renting Rabs warehouse.
