Rev Ted Mwambila dies: Ex-deputy SG of CCAP Livingstonia Synod
Former Livingstonia Synod of the Church of Central African Presbyterian (CCAP) Deputy Secretary General Rev. Ted Atusaye Goliath Mwambila has died.
The synod announced on Monday that Rev Mwambila died at Mzuzu Central Hospital after a short illness.
Rev Levi Nyondo described the death of Mbwambila as a shock to the synod.
He added that Mwambila served very vital leadership role for the synod including chairing the health board and the project for the church’s radio.
Mwambila was a respectable charismatic church leader.
He has been praised for his “selfless leadership”.
Nyondo said late Mwambila was a leader who showed grace, dignity, dedication, courage, and vision as a faithful witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“To God we give thanks for the service of the Reverend Mwambila, “he said.
Burial arrangements are yet to be announced as the departed church leader had some daughters who are in United Kingdom and are expected to fly to attend the burial of their father.
