Launching the activation campaign of the product in Blantyre, Unilever Malawi Customer Marketing Manager Wongani Vinkhumbo said the company decided to launch the campaign considering that Vaseline is one of the products that has been clinically proven to help keep skin repaired for three weeks.

“Vaseline is the brand that has been in existence for 100 years and as Unilever Malawi, we want to let people know that vaseline winter warmer is good for healthy skin as it restores and soothes dry skin within a period of three weeks,” said Vinkhumbo.

According to customer Marketing Manager, the activation exercise intends to reach out to at least 1080 women in all the districts across the country.

“We are targeting 32 groups of women across the nation with the activation messages of Vaseline because we believe women are decision makers once it comes to issues like these.

“As such we will be going around and tell them what we have on offer so that they should be sensitized on how perfectly it works once applied on the skin for three weeks,” she said.

The brand which is commonly named as Vaseline ‘intensive care’ is being sold as Vaseline winter warmer Advanced Repair, Men Body, Cocoa-glow and Aloe soothe.
