Vuwa trains DPP leaders on peaceful campaign

The newly appointed Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Director of Campaign Symon Vuwa Kaunda kick started his job by training Central  Region party leaders on peaceful elections campaign.

The training which took place at the party’s regional office, attracted district party leaders and those at grassroots level.

“As DPP, we want to do clean politics, we don’t was politics of castigating our opponents, avoid use of foul and abusive language, ” he said.

He added, “We want all party leaders from the grassroot level to dwell on real issues and stick to the DPP manifesto, they should outline DPP achievements when we were in power such as hunger eradication, economic development and infrastructure development.”

He said when leaders provoke their opponents, it is just a sign thay tthey have nothing to offer.

“We know that all along, there have been insults showered towards our president in particular and a party in general from other leaders but we are not moved because we know that they are afraid of DPP,” he said.

Kaunda said the trainings will be conducted in all the regions.
